Microsoft Studios boss denies claim that self-publishing system has limits.

There’s a report doing the rounds that Microsoft’s support for self-publishing on Xbox One only applies to the console’s Windows-derived partition, which is used chiefly for apps such as movie services and Skype. That’s not the idea at all, according to Microsoft Studios boss Phil Spencer.

Bioware artist shares thoughts on early Mass Effect concept art

Twisted Pixel is creating new IP alongside Xbox One launch game LocoCycle

"Yeah, it’d be awesome to just churn out sequels all day," but new IP is dev’s strongest suit.

Twisted Pixel has confirmed that it’s working on a second game besides LocoCycle, the madcap bike ’em up for Xbox 360 and Xbox One. The project is a new IP, and will probably run on Twisted’s legendary Beard engine, notable for powering Kinect exclusive The Gunstringer. And for being called "Beard".

Borderlands 2 Isn’t Getting Another Season Pass

Gearbox has confirmed that there won't be a second Season Pass offered for Borderlands 2, as gamers prefer the freedom of choosing which bundles they download.

Speaking to Polygon, the developer reiterated that it won't be offering all future DLC for a one-time fee, despite just announcing a new level cap, missions and raid bosses.

In a statement, Gearbox explained, "In April we celebrated the success of Borderlands 2 by thanking our most passionate fans, the Season Pass holders, by including the first Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack in the Season Pass. We were excited to give Season Pass holders $45 of value instead of the original promise of $40.
